Hardware: Troubleshooting M-Audio Firewire Distortion Issues If you ever pick up an M-Audio Firewire Sound card, you might become one of the no-so-lucky customers that experience distortion when playing music through iTunes or WinAmp. There are numerous recommendations on the internet that may not work for everyone. Here were my symptoms and what was happening to me:
My Solution/Fix:
Hardware: New SONAR 6.2 Update Available The Free SONAR 6.2 update adds new
features to SONAR including MIDI input quantize, a Bit Meter VST plug in, and
X-Ray Windows. It also enhances Active Controller Technology and AudioSnap, and
is the first digital audio workstation to natively support Microsoft® Windows
Vista. The SONAR 6.2 update is now available as a free download to registered
SONAR 6.0 Producer Edition and Studio Edition Customers.Get more information on the update. Hardware: Apple releases MacBook with Intel Core 2 Duo processor![]() Hardware: Review: Shuttle XPC SN25P SFF Barebones Computer Anonymous writes "The Shuttle XPC SN25P barebones PC is a toaster-sized system that supports AMD's superb Socket 939 64-bit processors, including the dual-core X2 CPU's. With a 350 watt power supply, it has plenty of power for the three internal drive bays as well. With the availability of budget single core and fast dual core socket 939 processors, the SN25P can be mid priced and fast or high priced and very, very, fast."
Hardware: Use DM2 to MIDI and DM2 with other DJ Software!![]()
