from Hyperion
Price: $13.17

Customer Review: Rating
I saw some of this guy's video and was intrigued. Decided to buy the audio version and listen to it on my annual road trip to Texas. It was a great way to pass the time and have some deep thoughts. This great man will be missed. But at least his words will live forever.

3.When You Are Engulfed in Flames
from Little, Brown and Company
Price: $17.15

Customer Review: Rating
This CD set was great for my roadtrip. I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes! It also still has that special sentimentality that David Sedaris's voice adds extra meaning to. However, there are parts that are downright gross and it is not for the faint of heart, I now have a phobia of boils.

7.Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life (P.S.)
from Harper Perennial
Price: $10.17

Customer Review: Rating
I have read all of Kingsolver's books, and greatly enjoyed them. This one was not so easy. My real problem with it was the assumption that we all have "family" to have meals with, cook with, and hang out in the kitchen or garden with. I would love that, but it just isn't the case, and I'm sure that... more info

Most people don't think of the catastrophe that would ensue should a zombie outbreak get out of hand. We have been taught that the government will protect us. ***No spoilers***
Being an avid reader and huge post-apocalyptic zombie fan I thought I would really enjoy this book. I think this book suffers in two ways. One is that it tries to be to realistic and instead comes off sounding fake. I never felt scared or hopeless for a character and some of... more info
