This is for my camcorder and it is good for what it is used for.

I asked the flip video place and they said the over heating is normal and if you have a flip ultra or hd, take the cover off when charging

This is needed because sometimes you just don't have your laptop to use for charging.
- Useful and Needed Accessory
You can recharge your Flip Ultra HD on your computer, but I find it so much easier for me to be able to recharge at an outlet. The plug prongs fold into the small black box that takes hardly any room to carry with you on a trip. I might not always carry my computer, so I needed an adapter. I am very happy with the size because both the camera and the adapter fit easily into my purse and they are light enough that you don't really feel the extra weight.
