• Great Book, but maybe not great Drizzt Book.
  This book's greatest strength is its plot. It has a myriad of diverse characters, side-stories, and intrigue, nd yet it is still relatively easy to follow, and exciting. The battle scenes are exhilirating but not overdrawn, and the pacing is good. The book brings fresh life to the Drizzt series, bringing back a number of old characters and introducing many new ones. It has a mad lich, devious pirate captains, an amry of tragic crusaders on a doomed quest for justice. Obould ahs a brief but satisfying cameo... more info
• The Pirate King
  This book is a good transition form the first. In many trilogies all three books are the same story. "The Orc King" was one story and now "The Pirate King" is a different story. I am not too crazy about Captain Deudermont and he is in this book a lot. He is too self rightous and I think that it blinds him from reality. Sometimes being good does not make everything ok, he seems to think differently. Otherwise I like the story and the cameo of Wulfgar and am looking forward to the 3rd in this series. • Aspirations For He Who Desires More
  This series of novels are more that what they appear to the one who would read them for an inspiration to improve the quality of life by using the examples and experiences of other's trials and tripulations. There is lessons among these books such as those of honor, valor, compassion, comsideration, contribution, being and having morals, and boudries, of making the right choices, of how to use the mind, and body, of how to succeed, of how to insure your failure...etc. Of which you will never receive if you... more info

  Possible Spoilers!!!!!!!!!
  I think that this could have been a brilliant book, but just falls short. The main plot seems to take the focus away from Drizzt which i cannot agree with, unless, this book is leading up to something in the ghost king. The title of the next book suggests something to do with Akleem Greeth and a possible battle between him and Drizzt. The comments about drizzt not facing any new foes are justified i believe, mainly because in the past Drizzt has faced demons (Errtu) and... more info
