Editorial ReviewFor courses in Freshman Composition. SF Writer, Third Edition, offers the best coverage of argument and visual rhetoric in a brief handbook. The style is energetic and witty, the advice fresh and contemporary, the design ground-breaking. More than any other handbook, SF Writer now focuses on argument. This is the handbook that reflects where the field is going, and what is important to today's students.

- Condition was quite misleading

I did receive exactly the ISBN that I asked for, and for that I am quite thankful. This book was used and was represented as being in like new condition. When I received it there were obvious signs of use - ruffled corners, etc. There were unsightly glue marks on front where a label an attempt to remove previous used label had taken place - could have been cleaned up for better presentation - also several quite unsightly USED labels on back. Maybe an OK source if you are not that concerned about condition... more info
- SF Writer Excellent Source for Research Papers

I was required to buy this book for a Senior Composition Class and I have found it extremely helpful in my writings. It is a great resource for term papers and includes all the background information on the various forms of Documentation, including MLA. It also highlights grammar, overall style, and punctuation. I would highly recommend this for any college student or anyone who needs a reliable source for term paper writing.
